It Takes Courage.

It takes bravery.  It takes courage.  To step out in faith, believing God.  To trust in God, Whom you cannot see.  To approach God, as you are.  

It takes courage.

Because everything around you denies the truth and tells you otherwise.  Your doubts and your fears.  They tell you, you are not worthy or loveable.  They tell you, you are a failure.  Your peers and your circumstances.  They tell you, you are not good enough or talented enough.  They tell you, you have failed.  They do.

But when every emotion screams at you, lies.  When every thought weighs you down, more and more.  When everything around you becomes to you darkness and heaviness and fear.  It is then that you can know.

Beyond a doubt, you can know.

That God is enough.  And even though your courage does not look like or feel like enough, it doesn't matter.  Because your bravery, your decision to step out in faith, to believe, to trust, to approach, God, is your saying, God is enough.

And you, out of nothing of yourself, from nothing of yourself, knowing all fear and shame and hurt and pain.  Knowing the chains.  Knowing the end of yourself, you now know the strength and the might, the awesomeness and the majesty, the glory and the honour.  Of the Lord God Almighty!
