When the Convincing Stops.

When the convincing, stops.  From within you.  When the persuading and the analyzing and the proving-it-to-be-right, all cease.  That's when you can rest.  Yes, only then.  You can rest.

Because trying to prove the Truth, that God is right, is really just a way to prove your own self right.  And trying to convince yourself, trying to persuade others, of the Truth, is really just a way to cover your own doubt.  And there is never an end to the convincing.

But, when you know that you know that Christ is enough.  That Christ is your life and your breath and your very heart-beat, then there is never a need to convince.  Yourself, or others.  There is never a need to prove or to study or to ensure you got it right.  

Because, there is no doubt in your heart.  

There is only a knowing.  A knowing that comes from believing and trusting.  That comes by faith.

And from within you, Christ is.  And though you may not be able to explain it, or even fully understand it, Christ is.  In you, Christ is, and His life shines and is glorified and magnified.  All in you.  Christ is.  So you can rest.

Yes, the convincing, it stops.  And the resting, it is.

Because you live, knowing Him.  You simply live, knowing Christ.
