Survival, or Life?

With every new trial, you adapt. With every obstacle, you adjust. Your livestyle, your means, your self, you adapt, just to survive. Because that's what you do when adversity comes your way, it's only natural, it's all our tendencies. To survive, on our own, to make it through this life, we adapt. Again and again.

But, when all that fails. When every motive and intention and means to survive, all fall short. Then what? Because they do. It's a guarantee. Any and all attempts to try to live this life on your own will fall short. Fall short of the glory of God.

And you were created for the glory of God.

Created on purpose, valued beyond measure, so purely loved and rejoiced over. As you are. All for the glory of God.

But when you forget your great worth, your great purpose, that's when you fall back to trying to survive, on your own. It happens, every time. Because not knowing who you are and where you stand before God, is not knowing you can trust the Lord God Almighty. It's not knowing you are safe with Him, with giving Him your life.

But God stopped at nothing to have you. God stopped at nothing to show you His acceptance. God stopped at nothing to demonstrate His love for you. God stopped at nothing. Nothing short of sending His Son, the perfect sacrifice to take the penalty for your sins. Your worth, your acceptance, your value, all determined by God, at the cross where Jesus died for you. So you could be His. So your life could have purpose.

Because you can't do it, you can't live this life on your own, apart from your Creator. And He knows it. So He made a way. For you to come to Him, He made a way.

Praise God, He made a way!

Jesus Christ is the Way.

Pure gift. Pure grace.

Do you believe? Do you believe enough to step out in pure faith, that what Christ did for you is enough to give you life? Eternal life, right now. Do you believe?

It is all Christ, or not at all.
Jesus is the Way, or He is not.
It is either yes or no.
Life, or survival.
The LORD's way, or your own.
