What If?

What if everything went deeper? What if every activity and endeavour was for more than acquiring that skill, that talent, that prize or accomplishment, that degree, that reward? What if it all went deeper? What if, in the process, you met God? And you encountered the living God. What if?

Because that is life! Life abundant!

And your every move and every breath becomes for the purpose of knowing God, of seeing and hearing and breathing God. Oh, what purpose! What meaning and joy! What life abundant! Then.

Because Christ is calling you to come to Him. He gently calls you to come. Knowing your fears, knowing your struggles, knowing you, He calls you to come. In every single event and endeavour and activity of your life, Christ is calling you to come to Him, to see the deeper purpose of it all.

To see His hand filtering everything that touches you, to see His shield preventing everything that wants to harm you, to see His sword defeating everything that threatens to steal life from you. To see Him. To see God. All through Christ Jesus our Lord, Who made a way, Who conquered death, Who rose again. So you could have Him! So He could have you!

Because if everything, if everything, is ruled over and by the Sovereign One of the universe, the One and Only Son of God Who laid down His very life for you, and calls you...

Then everything does go deeper, and all that you do does have purpose and meaning.

So, how can you not hear His call to see Him, in everything?
