But One Thing.
You would do anything. To have freedom from what binds you. To have healing from the pain that lingers. To have peace from everything in you that brings unrest. You would do anything. To get rid of the pain and the hurt and the destruction of self, of yourself.
Because what hurts and binds and robs you of peace is what is destroying you.
So you would do anything.
Try anything, search for anything, learn anything, believe in anything. Anything that promises freedom and reprieve and peace, to you, for you. Anything.
But one thing. There is but one thing that you would do. It's true, there is one thing you refuse to do. Because only one thing will set you free and heal you and give you peace. Yes, only one thing. And until you do this one thing, you remain in the desperation of doing anything.
It's true.
When you try so hard, when you strive so hard, to take care of yourself, to look out for yourself, to take control of yourself, and your life. Then it‘s a guarantee, you would do anything to make life happen. Anything.
But one thing.
To stop and let be. To rest and let the sovereign hands of God orchestrate all things. To let your Provider provide for you all things. To let all things simply be, apart from your trying and striving and doing. Apart from you.
And when you do, you will see the Kingdom of God come, in you. You will see and you will believe, Christ is more than enough, for you. You will see what you cannot see in the doing of anything. Because once you were blind, but now you see.
For you see your Saviour, Who loves and lives, for you. So that you can stop and let be.
And all freedom and healing and peace are yours in Christ Jesus your Lord. Amen.
