The Great Feast.

You see, He's prepared a feast, for you.  A great feast!  Because He knows your need to feast.  He knows your need to feast on Him.

So the feast is prepared.  The Lamb of God has been slaughtered, His blood shed for you, His body given to you, all so that you can feast.  On Him.

On the Tree of Life, the Lamb of God.  On the Living Word, the Bread of Life, the Water that never leaves you thirsty, ever again.  On Him.  To feast.  

Because, when the noise comes, when the distraction appears, when the chaos overwhelms, to excuse, to prevent, to stop you, from entering the feast, from enjoying the Great Feast.  Then your temptation is to reply 'no' to the invitation.  To His invitation for you today.  His invitation to enter the feast He has prepared for you, today.  You are tempted to not come.

But His invitation is to the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind.  To you.  He invites you.  When you know you have nothing to offer Him in return because of your poverty.  When you are crippled with fear because of your weakness in faith.  When you cannot walk even one step forward because of your deep, deep depression.  When you cannot see or hear or understand anything of God.  Still, He calls for you to come as you are, to His feast.  He invites you, to come, to feast on Him.

Every single day.  Again and again.  He invites you, to His feast, to the Great Feast.

To be enjoyed daily.  Communion with God Most High.  Daily.  Abiding in the Vine.  Resting in the Son.  Enjoying the Bread from heaven, His manna, for the journey, every single day.  Feasting on Him.

On Christ Jesus, the Lamb of God, Who came to take away the sin of the world, to take away your sin.  His blood, to cover over you, to pay the penalty for your sin.  His body, to nourish you, to provide sustenance for you, for your journey with Him.  Here and now.

And you ask, "But, how?  How can one feast on the LORD?"

But you must.  For life to be, you must.  And you can.  The Way has been made for you.  You must only accept the invitation and be willing to come.

Are you willing?  To come?  To Jesus, to your Saviour, are you willing?  To find the only life that's real?  Christ Jesus.  Are you willing?  Today?

To trust?  To hope?  To rest?  To look up?

To come?  And feast?  On Him.

Are you willing?  

Because when you are, then you will enter in to the Great Feast.  You will enter in to Christ Jesus, and all that He is, for you. And your reply will be ‘yes’ to His invitation to come.
