He Does Know

Why do we focus only on the problem? Why do we let it mount up and over and on us, to wear us down? As though we must fight it, on our own.

And we stay there and we keep our focus there. There, where all that ever flows from us is despair and complaints and the telling of how bad. Of how desparate. Of how futile. This life is. That problem is. That state of lacking is. As though we must let the heavens know. Of our plight.

As though God doesn't know. Doesn't care. Somehow forgot, to reign. Here, where you are, where they are. As though God remains oblivious. Stays distant. Somehow forgot, about you.

As if.

But you staying on the problem, it does that, makes you act that, and causes you to speak that. Until you feel that and begin to believe that. That God forgot. To reign over your one life.

And you remain stuck there. In the problems of this life. Which is really just one problem - your denial of God. And in which there is really only one way out. One way. The Way.

Because God, He knew what needed to be done. So God, He sent His Son. To save you. To give you life. To set you free. From the problems, from within the problems, despite the problems. And He declared it was finished. Because what Christ did was enough.

For God knew what needed to be done.

He does know. Does care. Always reigns sovereign. Here, where you are, where they are. He remains faithful. Stays near. And never forgets, about you.

And from your acknowledging that, and acknowledging Him, again and again. From your turning your eyes to Him, over and over. From your focus, on Him, and your knowing, of Him, every problem is put in perspective. Because every problem is given to Christ. And every problem is carried by Christ. Who is always by your side.
