What and When?
When will you break? To simply hear, rather than express.
When will you weaken? To simply see, rather than perform.
When will you soften? To simply know, rather than prove right.
To simply hear and see and know, Christ.
When will you?
For what does it take? To bend the knee and be teachable? To stop the striving and be receivable? To give up the self-effort and be moldable? What does it take?
To break, to weaken, to soften? Before God Almighty.
For you to be less, and God to be more.
What does it take?
To be willing to seek. To be willing to wait. To be willing to receive.
When will you, seek and wait for, to receive, life?
"For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." - Ephesians 3:14-19
When will you? What does it take? To be filled with all the fullness of God?
It takes God. "...he may grant you..." It takes revelation. "...strength to comprehend..." It takes solid ground. "...rooted and grounded…” It takes love. “…grounded in love..."
"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." - Ephesians 3:20-21
