Life you can Tell

You can tell it. When a whole bunch of people, just following the LORD’s leading, gather. When this group of needy, desparate people, this people who know their very real need, and dare to step out in faith because of it, every day, because every day is a real struggle, and every impossible day is only made possible by a possible God. Yes, when those kind of people gather. And surround. And love. One another. And worship. And adore. And praise. Their one true God, the only Lord God Almighty.

Oh, you can tell it.

You may not be able to understand it, or quite put your finger on it, or realize the depths of it. But oh, you can tell it. And you know it. That you want it.

Because when the LORD’s people gather. When those who know He is enough, those who want Him and only Him, those who have surrendered all, because they know their great worth in His eyes, and they know their great need for Him. When they gather. Then the LORD, He is there, among them, all around them, within them. Living through them.

Christ Jesus, the One Who is the Way and the Truth and the Life, He is in them. And when their life, pure and unhindered, because of their faith, small but very real, is seen, you can tell it, that Christ Jesus reigns victorious. In them.

So you want it.

For He is calling, “Come. Those who are tired and weary with this life, come. To Me. And I will give you life. Life everlasting. I will give you rest. Rest forevermore. Come to Me.

“And seek for all of Me, with all of your heart and mind. I promise, you will find. Yes, you will find, Me.”

Because in every child of God, in every saint of Christ, in every one who dares believe that Christ is enough. There, is Christ. The very One Who died to set you free. Who chose to take your punishment. Who rose again with you. Christ Jesus, Who died and was crucified, Who rose and was victorious, Who conquered death and it was finished. In you and for you. To give you life, His Life.

So that when you gather, because you follow, and you know, and you need. Him. Yes, when you gather, with God’s people, with them people who also follow and know and need Christ, then His Life shines. Every time.

And it’s His Life you can tell, within His people.
