Convinced to Leave it Alone
Now you, leave it. Exactly where it is, leave it alone.
Because your request before the Lord. Your asking of the Lord. Your cry-out for the Lord, to answer your call, to hear your petition. It is all that is needed for you to find peace. It is. It is all that is needed, when you leave it with Him. That hard relationship, that desperate need for healing, that frustrating problem, that unknown future, that unwanted attitude, in you.
You must, leave it with Him, leave it alone with Him.
Yes, alone. Not partnered with your opinion attached, not smothered with your idea of how it should look, not tagged with your answer and solution and plan written all over it. But alone. Left alone for Him to handle, Him to orchestrate, Him to use for His glory, and to show you His majesty through.
It’s where you will find peace.
For you have done your part in giving up trying to fix it on your own. And you have done your part in calling out to Him for help. Yes, you have done your part in bringing it to the Father. You have.
Now you must leave it alone!
Leave it with the One Who hears your cry the moment it is uttered from your lips (Daniel 10:12). Leave it with the One Who resides in the heavens and reigns over it all anyways (Ephesians 1:20-21). Leave it with the One Who knows you by name and calls you His own (Isaiah 43:1; John 10:3). Leave it with the One Who cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
It’s what you must do. It’s where you must stay. Convinced He is able. Convinced He is enough. And convinced enough to leave it, alone with Him.
