Today?

Today you go up against giants that are much greater and more powerful than you. They live within your mind, seeking to destroy you. Those lies of self-preservation proclaiming, it is all up to you; those lies of condemnation shouting out, there is nothing worthy in you. They live all around you, wanting to prevent you from entering the land God promised you as a child of promise (Galatians 4:28; Romans 4:16). Those trials and circumstances, those people and encounters, they are all giants that are much greater and more powerful than you. And today you go up against them.

And every rationale inside of you cries out, “Who can stand up against these giants? Not I!”

“But recognize today that the Lord your God is the one who will cross over ahead of you like a devouring fire to destroy them. He will subdue them so that you will quickly conquer them and drive them out, just as the Lord has promised.” (Deuteronomy 9:3 NLT)

Just as the Lord has promised. Every giant subdued. It’s true, He will subdue those giants you go up against. Are you letting God go before you? Are you letting God cross over ahead of you? Today?

They live in cities with walls that reach to the sky! The people are strong and tall—descendants of the famous Anakite giants.
