You Never, Until Christ

You never knew it before. That you never really had life. That death really ruled over you. You never knew it before.

Before you knew Christ.

And you won’t ever know it. That life is really abundant, victorious living. For death is really conquered to never again take life from you. You won’t ever know it.

Until you know Christ.

You never experienced it before. That freedom was so far from you. That slavery was really so familiar to you. You never experienced it before.

Before Christ set you free.

And you won’t ever experience it. The freedom that cannot be explained, only lived on display. For every chain was broke, never again to claim its hold on you. You won’t ever experience it.

Until Christ is allowed to do the freeing.

You never understood it before. That Christ really is all. That anything apart from Christ is simply self, and results in death. You never understood it before.

Before the Holy Spirit revealed.
Before God the Father loved.
Before Jesus Christ was raised in you.
Before you received.

It’s true.

You never knew or experienced or understood Life. And you won’t ever know or experience or understand Life.

Until Christ!
