Thank You, LORD, You Can!

You can’t do it. And you just out-right, plain-Jane, deep-down know it. That you cannot do it. No way, no how.

For your emotions scream it - the despair and anxiety, the fear and worry. And their landslide proves it. How you are falling apart. There is just no way you can do it.

You cannot hold it together within the storm. When the attack from the enemy comes loud and personal. When everything cries out impossible.

You cannot remain in the light from within your circumstances. When the darkness comes like a cloak to surround and consume you. When everything declares you are stuck there.

You cannot get rid of the despair. When the filth of your deeds and the ugliness of your thoughts condemn and shame you. When everything magnifies your guilt.

It’s plain as day. You can’t do it. Against the enemy, against the darkness, against the condemnation. You cannot. You cannot hold it together, remain in the light, and be rid of the despair. No, you cannot.

So you can’t. But God can!

The enemy - defeated. The darkness - gone. The condemnation - no more.

All in Christ Jesus! It’s what you can do. It’s all you can do. Hold tightly to Him, remain in Him, and rejoice always in Him. Because God can! And He did. For you! And in you! God can, and God will, the moment you cry out, “I can’t do this! But thank You, LORD, You can!”

Stay there, in Christ, and you will be saved! Amen! Christ Jesus came to save you! Victory, Light, Salvation! All in Christ Jesus.

And your praises rise up to Him Who is able, always and forever, able to save!
