How Else?
It’s God having His way in a life. Every softened soul, every gentled spirit, and every child-like, weak step forward. In faith. It’s a surrendered heart, where God has made a way, through the tough stuff and because of the hard things of life. That is God’s way.
And His way makes way for beauty, every time. It does.
For how else does one know the afflictions of their own heart, so as to desperately call out to a faithful God? Than by such despair.
How else does one come to the end of their usefulness and self-worth, so as to humbly acknowledge a sovereign God? Than by such surrender.
How else does one turn from their own ways and plans and means, so as to full-heartedly choose God’s way? Than by such quietness.
Quietness and rest. Stillness and peace. Humility and weakness. It’s God’s way, and it results in beauty. Every time.
For beauty is letting God reign, following God’s way.
