What It’s About
What if you were told not to go to church, not to pray, not to read the Word, not to do good and act righteously? But what if, instead, you wanted to? What if you desired it as for breathing? What if it was your very life-line? Gathering and encouraging with followers of Christ. Communing with God Almighty and boldly coming before His throne of grace in prayer. Hungering and thirsting after righteousness in the reading and meditating of the Truth. Allowing Christ’s life to shine so brightly through your every word and deed because it’s His Life in you.
Because you know.
It’s not about going to church. It’s about saying yes to Jesus.
It’s not about praying the prayer. It’s about surrendering your life to Jesus and having ears to hear His voice.
It’s not about doing good deeds. It’s about a heart that loves and serves Jesus.
It’s not about Bible study and reading and preaching. It’s about seeking the Truth that sets free so He can produce the Living Water within you that overflows into fruit abundance.
Because the outward doing of what is right does not guarantee the inward living of what is holy and righteous and blameless. There is only One Who guarantees that. And only a life that says yes to Jesus, surrendering to hear from Him, loving, serving and aggressively seeking after Him, the Way and the Truth and the Life, Christ Jesus Who was and is, is a life that is alive and well from within.
For it is a life that cries out, “All I have and all I need is Christ Jesus, my Lord and Saviour!”
And you can hear the Master say to you, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.” - Matthew 25:23
Because you were faithful over the little you were given to do, faithfully, again and again, running to the One Who is able. It’s all you know to do. It’s where faith is alive and well. And it’s where God is pleased. Because you know what it’s about, from start to finish (Romans 1:17).

“And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” - Hebrews 11:6 ESV
“This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, ‘It is through faith that a righteous person has life.’” - Romans 1:17 NLT
