Freedom To Tell It

Can you say it? Can you see it? Looking back on your life, can you tell it? Can you?

Your freedom, that is.

Because it’ll happen. When you least expect it, you will see it. When you aren’t trying to, you will tell it. When you’ve given up and stopped to be, your life will say it. For it happens. When you are still long enough to see, stopped long enough to rest, and quiet long enough to hear, then your freedom is, your freedom to tell it is.

For you can understand what your freedom really is, that it was all God’s doing all along.

And your soul will cry out, “Look at what the LORD has done!”

For you can see it, and you can tell it, and you want to shout it: “It was all God! It is all God! Why did I doubt? Why did I fear? Look at what the LORD has done to rescue my soul!”

And the joy of the LORD rises up from within you. As you bow in worship, praise in adoration, abide in pure peace, and rest in utter amazement. At Christ. And what He has done, in setting you free!

Nothing of your own doing, but everything of His. Where freedom is, indeed, freedom to tell it!
