You Are Forgiven

He came as Creator of all. And He died as Saviour of all. It was the only way. It is the only way. Only the Creator of all could die as the Saviour of all.

Because only the Saviour of all could remove the power of sin (1 Corinthians 15:55-57) and set you free from all sin (1 Corinthians 1:30). For all who believe in Jesus’ saving work of redemption for them on the cross of Calvary, and for all who receive this wonderful gift of grace for them, they will, through the Saviour of all, “live in triumph over sin” (Romans 5:17).

It’s true. It’s true!

You are forgiven, forever free from sin, your every sin is wiped clean. It’s true for you who believe and receive. It’s true! All praise and thanksgiving to Christ Jesus your Lord! It’s true!!

But you ask, “How can a person be free of every sin? How can you live in triumph over sin, where every sin really has no hold on you? How can you walk free like that?”

Because all the corrections you make. All those improvements you try to take. Every effort you put forth to make right so as to somehow be rid of that sin. It does not work. You cannot be free of sin.

And it’s true, you cannot do it, but Christ can, and He has, for you!

Keep walking with your Saviour, oh child of His. Keep going with Him by your side. Keep looking to Him, surrendering, abiding, and resting in Him. It is the only way, because He is the only Way. Do not forget the Creator of all Who came as Saviour of all. Do not forget your Creator Who came as your Saviour, to save you. He has made the way! For you!

“Behold, the lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29).

You are made right with God by Christ Jesus, forever free from every sin (1 Corinthians 1:30), accomplished by faith from start to finish (Romans 1:17), by your believing Jesus sacrificed His life, shedding His blood for your sin (Romans 3:23-25) in order that you can have peace with God (Romans 5:1).

Christ has done it!

“Clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ…” (Romans 13:14 NLT), and walk free of every sin. It’s true! You are forgiven, freed from every sin, made right with God forever! You are forgiven in Christ Jesus alone, the Creator of all and Saviour of all (Colossians 1:16,20)!! There is no greater news!
